HOW TO GO GREEN

Why go green? Just what does it mean to “go green”? I am sure that by now it is beginning to sound like a household word. Many people might ask “How do you do it?” “Where should I start?” Here are a few areas where you can make a difference by going green.

I suggest that you start off small with one thing at a time; change a light bulb. By starting off with something simple, you can start making a difference right away. Changing at least one of your regular light bulbs with a Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb (CFL) will pay for itself in about six months and save around thirty dollars over the lifetime of the bulb. Since it uses seventy-five percent less energy, it will last about ten times longer than an incandescent bulb. Since it feels so good to be making a difference, why don’t you just go ahead and change another one?

There are lots of ways that you can make a difference by going green. Here are Fifty-two Tips for Going Green as brought to you by the Seattle Post Intelligencer on Saturday, April 12, 2008.

CLEAN AIR 4 LIFE

Air Cleaners vs Air Purifiers.....Which One is Right For You?

You've heard that indoor air pollution can be a significant health concern. In fact, the EPA has said that air quality inside American homes and offices can be two to five times worse than outside.

Cleaners generally involve a series of filters that captures particulates-including dust, dander, pollen, microorganisms and other airborne debris-from the air that circulates through the unit. Purifiers utilize a variety of technologies to destroy microorganisms, chemicals, odors and other contaminants, often at the molecular level.

WATER FOR LIFE-USA

Ionized water is a powerful antioxidant.

Imagine having the ability to take normal tap water and turn it into an antioxidant with a NEGATIVE charge, which retards the aging process. Ionized water essentially renews us at a cellular level. Ionized Water is full of oxygen, is up to six times more hydrating than regular water and is also detoxifying.

"Our landfills are being filled with over 30 million plastic bottles each year and we are now realizing that most bottled water is simply not as healthy as we once thought. The simple answer that Rachelle and I have found to both of these serious problems is KYK water ionizers. The quality and performance of the KYK Genesis and Harmony, along with the health benefits of their ultra pure alkaline water will truly amaze you!" Ed Begley, Jr.
